About me

I research social policy issues on disasters, displacements, and climate actions in East and Southeast Asia. My works have been cited in globally important policy documents like the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) 6th Assessment Report (2022), the UNFAO’s Women and Men in Small-scale Fisheries and Aquaculture in Asia (2022), the United Nations' World Water Development Report (2021), and the ADB Report for Baguio City's Smart Flood Early Warning Systems and Gender and Inclusion Study (2021).

My works are published in leading academic journals like the World Development, International Journal for Disaster Risk Reduction, Third World Quarterly, and the Humanities and Social Science Communications.
